We are seeking an experienced ACT Qualified Pharmacy Technician for a 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ward-based pharmacy support to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Support the medicines reconciliation process and maintain accurate patient medication records.
- Liaise with pharmacists, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care.
- Assist with the supply, ordering, and management of medicines on hospital wards.
- Use hospital systems, including Cerner and JAC, to update and maintain patient and medication information.
- Ensure compliance with NHS policies, medicines management procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete administrative tasks as required.
- Deliver a high standard of patient-focused care while working in a fast-paced ward environment.
Essential Requirements:
- ACT qualification
- Minimum 2 years' NHS ward experience
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience using hospital systems such as Cerner and JAC
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
