Foundry Operative
We are currently recruiting a Foundry Operative - Stacker to join a busy foundry in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm role offering structured rotating shifts and long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

We are currently recruiting a Foundry Operative - Stacker to join a busy foundry in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm role offering structured rotating shifts and long-term opportunities for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 18:00
- Week 2: Monday to Wednesday – 18:00 to 06:00
Key Duties of this Foundry Operative role:
- Stacking and organising castings and materials safely
- Manual handling of products in line with site procedures
- Supporting production and finishing processes within the foundry
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
- Carrying out quality checks and reporting any defects or issues
- Following all health & safety guidelines at all times
Skills & Experience Required for this Foundry Operative role :
- Previous experience working in a foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industrial would be an advantage
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
- Comfortable working day and night shifts on a rotating pattern
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Details of this Foundry Operative role:
- £12.76 per hour plus shift allowance (£16.02)
- Rotating shift pattern with built-in rest days
- Temp-to-perm opportunity after a successful probation period
- Temp to perm for the right candidate
