Job Description
This is a rare and unique opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading interior design agencies designing and delivering leading immersive experiences for museums, cultural attractions, theme parks brands globally.
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator ideally who has worked within Events, Conferences or Exhibitions to manage the procurement, testing, logistics, and stock control of audiovisual equipment across multiple projects. The role includes a storekeeper & warehouse element, so she would need to recognise AV equipment and components, understand broadly what they are used for and be able to identify and allocate the correct items to projects.
The role also includes receiving and checking deliveries, organising equipment on project-specific shelving ready for installation or shipment, packing and palletising equipment, using a pallet truck and preparing pallets for shipping.
You will have experience of international shipping, including arranging couriers/freight, preparing shipping documentation and dealing with customs, commodity codes and carnets. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands about negotiating with suppliers and is comfortable working closely with engineering and project teams.
