Job Description


Role Purpose

To take a leading role in the management of Anti-Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse Case Work, working in conjunction with internal and external agencies to assess risk of victims of Domestic Abuse and implement safety measures and robust support package for victims.
 
Provide effective and efficient management of an ASB and domestic abuse caseload across the managed housing stock including Colne Park across a range of secure and non-secure occupation arrangements.



Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for the effective management of an allocated caseload in line with the model of service and presenting level of risk.
  • Undertake interviews and Risk Assessments with victims, their families where appropriate and perpetrators to provide a holistic assessment of risk and need
  • Establish rapport and build a respectful, honest and safe relationship with victims, their families where appropriate and perpetrators.
  • Produce and present written and verbal reports which are concise, informative and based on analysis of complex evidence.
  • Understand, respect and promote the rights of victims.
  • Ensure all matters in respect of child and adult safeguarding are dealt with promptly, effectively and in line with procedures
  • To work with other agencies as identified with management on projects and service developments which promote an integrated approach and multi-disciplinary working


Requirements 
  • Hold a level 4 and level 5 Housing Qualification or can evidence that you are currently working towards these qualifications.
  • Hold a IDVA qualification
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a complex Domestic Abuse and ASB case load to a successful conclusion
  • Experience of Supervising staff and monitoring the quantitative and qualitative aspects of casework
  • Experience of Risk Assessing victims of Domestic Abuse using the Save Lives Framework.
  • Experience of effectively managing a varied and complex caseload with a range of underlying vulnerabilities.


Contract 
  • Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend 
  • PAYE via Umbrella 
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (OFFICE BASED POSITION)
