Senior Building Surveyor

Senior Building Surveyor Location: Central London
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office / on site
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven surveyor with strong technical expertise and a proven background in project management.

The Role You will be responsible for delivering a range of building surveying and project management services across varied property portfolios, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional building surveying services across multiple projects
• Lead and manage site-based works, ensuring quality, compliance, and programme delivery
• Take ownership of project management duties, from inception through to completion
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships effectively
• Prepare reports, specifications, and project documentation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards

Key Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Building Surveyor at a senior level
• Strong project management background (highly desirable)
• Demonstrable experience managing site-based works
• Excellent stakeholder and client-facing skills
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative consultancy team
