Plasterer

Role Purpose We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plasterer / Multi‑Skilled Finisher to deliver a high standard of plastering, artexing, tiling, and decorative repairs across residential properties. You will play a key role in providing a right‑first‑time service, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety, and quality workmanship on every job.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering, artexing, tiling, rendering, coving, and decorative works to internal and external areas.
• Complete repairs and planned works within agreed timescales, aiming to resolve issues first time.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues regarding job progress and completion.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation, including correct use of PPE, equipment, and COSHH controls.
• Accurately record work completed, materials used, and job costs using electronic systems or handheld devices.
• Apply a Schedule of Rates correctly, ensuring works are costed accurately.
• Maintain stock levels and materials in the works vehicle in a cost‑effective manner.
• Keep the works vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy, reporting any defects promptly.
• Participate in an out‑of‑hours emergency call‑out rota when required.
• Support other trade colleagues as needed to deliver the best possible service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plastering, artexing, tiling, rendering, and decorative works.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering (or equivalent time‑served experience).
• Experience working within a trade or maintenance team and meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to accurately record job details, materials, and costs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Physically capable of manual, hands‑on work.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach.
