We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Security Systems Surveyor to assess, design, and recommend integrated security solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The role involves conducting on-site surveys, identifying security risks, and specifying systems including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Security Systems Surveyor to assess, design, and recommend integrated security solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The role involves conducting on-site surveys, identifying security risks, and specifying systems including CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
Salary package:
- £30,000 - £40,000
- 25 Days Holidays
- Access to company vehicle
- 37.5 hour working week
Duties
- Conduct detailed on-site security surveys across a range of client premises
- Site visit 1-2 days a week
- Assess risks, vulnerabilities, and client requirements
- Design and specify security systems including:
- CCTV (IP & analogue systems)
- Intruder alarm systems
- Access control (standalone and networked systems)
- Produce accurate survey reports, system designs, and quotations
- Liaise with clients to understand needs and present suitable solutions
- Work closely with installation and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards (e.g., NSI, SSAIB, BS EN standards)
- Keep up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in security system surveying or system design
- Strong knowledge of:
- CCTV systems (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon, etc.)
- Intruder alarms (e.g., Texecom, Pyronix, Galaxy)
- Access control systems (e.g., Paxton, ACT, HID)
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings and system schematics
- Good understanding of networking (IP addressing, switches, VLANs)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Full UK driving licence
