Graduate BEMS Consultant – London - £28,000

Role Overview
A growing building services consultancy is seeking a Graduate BEMS Consultant to support the delivery of Building Energy Management Systems, controls and smart building consultancy services across a varied client base.
Working alongside an experienced team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to surveys, design support, tender activity, commissioning, optimisation and client reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BEMS and controls surveys, producing clear findings and client recommendations.
• Assist with feasibility studies, specification reviews, technical evaluations and energy management activity.
• Contribute to concept design, tender support, cost review and contractor evaluation.
• Support commissioning, witness testing, snagging and project progress reporting.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams while developing consultancy skills.

Skills and Attributes

• Understanding of building services, BMS, controls or smart building technologies.
• Strong technical interest with good numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to engage clients, contractors and project teams.
• Organised, self-motivated and keen to develop within a consultancy environment.
• Good IT skills with the ability to produce clear reports and technical documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• HNC, degree or equivalent qualification in electrical, mechanical, building services or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience or exposure within BMS, controls, building services, systems integration or consultancy would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of platforms such as Trend, Tridium or Niagara would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Based in London with travel to client sites as required; training and development will be provided.
