I am currently representing a leading building services solution provider of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation, who are currently in search of M&E maintenance engineers to be based within Cambridge.

With a current turnover approaching 35 million and average project values of up to 8 million, my client is evolving and has extensive experience providing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance to blue-chip clients within Cambridge, East Anglia, Chelmsford and London.

A respected business that has been operating for over 60 years, due to ever increasing workload they are currently looking to recruit mechanical and electrical engineers to provide PPM and Reactive works to HVAC plant and associated services.

The crux of the work would be Cambridge and the ideal candidate would live within a 20 mile radius of the city. With a low staff turnover their success comes from ensuring staff are well trained and given every opportunity to develop in their skillset.

 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PPM work.
  • Service work on fan coil units, air handling units etc.
  • Lighting and water temp checks.
  • Some reactive including pumps removal, basic plumbing, and fitting of lights
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, responding immediately to reactive tasks
  • Responsible for the maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of a wide variety of plant equipment.
  • Operation of  Trend and Siemens BMS systems to maintain optimum running efficiency of all HVAC
  • Maintenance of AHU’s, FCU’s VAV’s, ACU’s
  • Maintenance and running of Standby Generators and monitoring of UPS systems
  • Emergency Lighting tests
  • First line investigation of heating, air-con, refrigeration, CCTV, access control, and other faults
  • Plumbing and building fabric works,
  • PAT Testing
  • Covering multiple sites
