Van Driver

Location: Cardiff


Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour


Hours: Monday – Friday, approximately 45 hours per week

1 Saturday  in every 6–7 weeks

Start Times: Typically between 6:30am – 7:30am

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis, offering an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for long-term work.

 

You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products, including controlled drugs, to retail and residential premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical products safely and securely to customers.
  
  
• Complete approximately 20–60 deliveries per day, depending on the delivery radius.
  
  
• Follow pre-planned, time-sensitive delivery routes.
  
  
• Ensure deliveries are completed within the required timescales.
  
  
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
  
  
• Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and procedures.
  
  
• Handle pharmaceutical products responsibly and in line with company procedures.
  
  

About You

• Full UK driving licence with van driving experience.
  
  
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
  
  
• Comfortable working to time-sensitive schedules.
  
  
• Able to follow planned routes and delivery instructions.
  
  
• Good communication and customer service skills.
  
  
• Comfortable handling pharmaceutical products and working within strict procedures.
  
  
• Flexibility to work an occasional Saturday.
  
  
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check
