Shifts: Monday to Friday (Rotating)

• 06:00 - 14:00

Pay: £13.84 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks

Pertemps Isle of Wight are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in Ryde for experienced Production Operatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy practical, hands-on work in an industrial environment and are looking for long-term employment with pay progression.

The Role
Working as part of a busy production team, you'll be involved in the manufacture and finishing of high-quality metal products.

Duties include:

• Operating industrial machinery safely and efficiently
  
  
• Using equipment such as metal grinders, sandblasting machines and other production equipment
  
  
• Finishing and preparing manufactured products
  
  
• Carrying out quality inspections
  
  
• Working to production targets
  
  
• Following strict health and safety procedures

• Engineering
  
  
• Metal fabrication
  
  
• Construction
  
  
• Industrial labouring
  
  
• Machine operation
  
  
• Workshop environments
  
  

If you've previously worked as a Production Operative, Machine Operator, Factory Operative, Construction Labourer, Engineering Operative, Fabricator's Mate or in any other hands-on industrial role, we'd like to hear from you.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or construction environment (essential)
  
  
• Comfortable working with machinery and power tools
  
  
• Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work
  
  
• Strong awareness of health and safety
  
  
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
  
  
• Available to work rotating shifts
