Job Description
Warehouse Operative
Our manufacturing client based in the Welshpool area is looking for a number of Temporary to Permanent, full time warehouse operatives to join there ever expanding and successful warehouse team on a mixture of day and night shift patterns.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be managing the movement, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring stock is accurate and orders are processed safely and efficiently. Key duties include loading/unloading, picking, packing, and conducting stock checks. This role demands physical stamina, teamwork, and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
You will be unloading deliveries, checking for damaged goods, and organizing stock in appropriate locations, picking products from shelves and packing them securely for shipment and maintaining accurate stock records, conducting inventory checks, and reporting discrepancies.
Ideal Candidate
Previous 2/3 Years experience within warehouse
Reach FLT Licence (Preferable not essential)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Strong team player skills to coordinate with colleagues and managers.
Good Literacy and numeracy for checking invoices, orders, and managing inventory.
Attention to Detail - Ensuring orders are packed accurately to prevent customer complaints.
