Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

 

Pertemps Wolverhampton is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking to join a busy and successful manufacturing business.

 

The Role

 

As a key member of the warehouse and yard team, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Loading and unloading wagons with raw materials and finished goods.
  
  
• Moving stock and materials around the manufacturing site.
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
  
  
• Supporting general warehouse and yard duties as required.
  
  
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  
  

 

Candidate Requirements

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence is essential.
  
  
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT within a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
  
  
• A reliable and hardworking approach with excellent attention to detail.
  
  
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
  
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
