Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the legal team and wider business.
- Prepare, format and proofread legal correspondence, documents and reports.
- Maintain and organise legal files, ensuring accurate record keeping and document control.
- Manage incoming emails, correspondence and telephone enquiries, directing them appropriately.
- Schedule meetings, manage diaries and coordinate appointments.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of legal documents and contracts.
- Maintain legal databases, filing systems and document management systems.
- Ensure confidential information is handled securely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Support compliance and audit activities by maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Liaise with internal departments and external contacts where required.
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the legal department.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and work independently.
- A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to support the wider team.
