Accounts Payable Administrator 

Location: Redditch, On-site
Job Type: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:45–17:00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join a busy and well-established business on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous finance or administration experience who is confident working with invoices, data and financial records.


Key Responsibilities
  • Processing and accurately inputting supplier invoices.
    • Checking invoices for accuracy and ensuring they are correctly authorised.
    • Matching invoices against purchase orders and relevant documentation.
    • Coding and allocating invoices to the correct accounts or cost centres.
    • Maintaining accurate supplier records and financial documentation.
    • Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any discrepancies.
    • Responding to supplier queries regarding invoices and payments.
    • Processing credit notes and resolving invoice discrepancies.
    • Assisting with payment runs and ensuring invoices are processed within agreed timescales.
    • Supporting general Accounts Payable and finance administration.
    • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting where required.
    • Ensuring all financial information is handled accurately and confidentially.

About You
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and detail-focused, with the ability to work accurately in a busy environment.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has previous Accounts Payable or finance administration experience.
    • Must have experience with SAP.
    • Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Is confident working with numbers and financial information.
    • Has good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
    • Can manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
    • Has strong communication skills and is comfortable dealing with suppliers and internal teams.
    • Is proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Is immediately available.
