Gas Safety Administrator
Location: Newport | Hybrid Working Available After Training
Pay: £13.58 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Assignment length: Temporary Ongoing Assignment
Immediate Start Available
We are currently recruiting for a Gas Safety Administrator to join a busy and supportive Supply Point team based in Newport.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has great attention to detail.
Previous gas industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Interrogating internal systems and industry databases
- Issuing customer correspondence and managing queries
- Organising engineer site visits and inspections
- Processing survey reports and arranging service disconnections
- Updating internal and industry systems accurately
- Liaising with internal departments and external industry parties including suppliers and shippers
- Supporting gas safety regulation processes and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Auditing work and providing feedback on errors where required
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous administration and customer service experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous but is not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- Confident using Microsoft Office and Excel
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible approach with willingness to learn and develop within the role
