The role operates on a variable shift pattern, with working hours scheduled between 7.00am and 6.00pm.

    • Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general building upkeep to a high standard.
    • Assisting with porterage duties, including moving furniture, equipment, and deliveries as required.

We are looking for someone who:

    • Possesses good DIY and maintenance skills, along with a proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining our school buildings and grounds to a high standard.
    • Enjoys working both indoors and outdoors in a busy school environment alongside pupils, staff, visitors, and contractors.
    • Demonstrates a flexible approach to work and a positive, solution-focused "can-do" attitude.
    • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider school community.
    • Is able to work independently, using initiative to identify and resolve issues when required
