Location: Kettering
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Working Hours:
Mon – Thurs: 7.30am – 4.00pm
Fri: 7.30am – 3.45pm
Breaks:
10.00am – 10.15am (Paid)
12.30pm – 1.00pm (Unpaid)
Job Description & Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable, proactive General Labourer to join our team at Harlow Timber. This is a dynamic role where "all days are different"—you might be handling smaller, precise tasks one day and tackling large-scale projects the next.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Tool Work: Confidently using tools such as nail guns, drills, and tape measures.
Assembly: Building frames and structures as part of a close-knit team of up to four people.
Heavy Lifting: Handling and moving timber materials, which will involve heavy lifting.
Site Support: General labour duties to ensure the smooth operation of the site.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Ability to "hit the ground running" with prior experience using hand/power tools (drills, nail guns).
Attributes: Strong work ethic, excellent reliability, and a track record of good attendance.
Teamwork: A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a small team of 4.
Physical Fitness: Capable of fulfilling the physical demands of the role, including heavy lifting.
