Location: Brierley Hill

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Hours: 8am–4:30pm Monday to Friday

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Wood Assembler to join a busy manufacturing business based in Brierley Hill.

 

The Role

• As a Wood Assembler, your duties will include:
  
  
• Assembling wooden products and components
  
  
• Working from drawings and measurements
  
  
• Using hand tools and power tools
  
  
• Cutting, drilling and preparing materials
  
  
• Checking finished products for quality
  
  
• Following production specifications
  
  
• Working as part of a busy manufacturing team
  
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
  
  

 

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in wood assembly, carpentry, joinery or a similar role
  
  
• Good practical and manual skills
  
  
• Experience using hand and power tools
  
  
• Ability to work from measurements and drawings
  
  
• Good attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  
• Previous manufacturing or workshop experience
