What you’ll be doing as an IT Support Specialist:
- Handling escalated incidents that require deeper investigation and technical troubleshooting
- Diagnosing root causes of issues across systems, applications and user environments
- Supporting business systems, including CRM platforms and internal applications
- Troubleshooting cloud-based services including Microsoft 365, access and identity issues
- Managing vendor and third-party support cases through to resolution
- Supporting major incidents and ensuring clear communication throughout
- Identifying trends in repeat issues and helping reduce recurring problems
- Creating and improving knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides
- Supporting system rollouts, upgrades and changes across the business
- Coaching and supporting Support Desk Analysts with technical queries and best practice
- Ensuring all tickets are well documented with clear resolution details
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working as an IT Support Specialist, or in a strong second-line / senior support role
- Experience handling complex or escalated IT issues
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to identifying root causes
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud services and user access management
- Experience supporting business systems such as CRM platforms
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and working in a structured service desk environment
- Experience working with third-party vendors or external support teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
It would be a bonus if you have:
- ITIL certification
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or automation tools
- Exposure to reporting, data analysis or SQL
