Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Conwy

Hours: Monday – Friday, either 6:30–15:00

Contract: Permanent Opportunity 

Rate of Pay: Starting £12.71 per hour
 
 
Role Overview
We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client. This role is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity based in Conwy, offering structured shifts and a pathway for development.
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, Shift Production Manager, Supervisors, and Senior Production Operatives, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality production outputs while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Production & Daily Operations
 
  • Coordinate daily production orders
    • Monitor stock levels (trays/boxes)
    • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Maintain awareness of allergens and prevent cross-contamination
 
Product Quality
 
  • Ensure all products meet specification and quality standards
 
Maintenance & Operational Support
 
  • Report any machine or line issues to the Production Manager/Line Leaders
    • Complete all required documentation accurately
    • Undertake training to maintain and improve skill sets
    • Contribute to reducing waste in raw materials and packaging
 
 
Candidate Requirements
 
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in production within food manufacturing desirable, particularly meat, chilled, frozen, or retail sectors
    • Food hygiene qualification desirable
 
Skills & Competencies
 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
    • Basic IT literacy and good numerical ability
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to think creatively
    • Awareness of health and safety regulations
