Customer Service Agent

Pay Rate: £12.87 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
Contract: 6-month contract, with a 12-week temp-to-perm period

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Agent to join an established business operating within the trade supplies and DIY sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy customer service team, supporting customers with a range of enquiries and ensuring they receive a professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling inbound calls from customers regarding complaints, queries and orders.
  
  
• Dealing with customer complaints professionally and working towards positive resolutions.
  
  
• Assisting with order processing and resolving order-related issues.
  
  
• Providing accurate information and keeping customers updated.
  
  
• Delivering a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous customer service or contact centre experience is desirable.
  
  
• Confident communicating with customers over the telephone.
  
  
• Able to handle complaints and challenging conversations professionally.
  
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• A positive attitude with a customer-focused approach.

• No weekend working.
  
  
• Six-month contract with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temp-to-perm period.
