Job Description
Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Jig & Fixture Coordinator to join a busy production environment.
This role is key to ensuring all jigs and fixtures are maintained, organised, and readily available to support manufacturing operations.

This role is key to ensuring all jigs and fixtures are maintained, organised, and readily available to support manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Jig & Fixture Management:
- Sort jigs for cleaning and prepare for scheduled cleaning cycles (approx. 1 trailer per week)
- Monitor, manage, and report stock levels of jigs and fixtures
- Segregate and coordinate repair of damaged fixtures with the Engineering team
- Liaise with Production and Engineering teams regarding tooling, trollies, and fixtures requiring maintenance (including OWR, Paint & BIW areas)
- Safely oversee loading and unloading of fixtures from high-level racking
Storage & Housekeeping:
- Maintain organised and safe storage of all jigs, fixtures, and equipment in line with 5S standards
- Manage excess storage areas, ensuring accessibility and compliance with site standards
Logistics & Handling:
- Support model mix changes to meet production line requirements
- Manage returns from Sealer Line – segregate and store correctly
- Manage returns from Trim & Final – ensure correct handling and storage
- Maintain accurate tracking and traceability of all jigs and fixtures
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments and external providers
- Computer literate (confident using Excel to track stock and data)
- Valid forklift licence required
- Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary & Benefits:
- £13.93ph
- 6am-3pm Monday to Thursday, 11am finish on Friday
