Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Dental), 5+ Years PQE, West Midlands, £75,000+ (DOE) – A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to head up its specialist Dental Clinical Negligence team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor with strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience to take ownership of an established team, driving performance while continuing to deliver exceptional client outcomes. THE ROLE:
• This is a varied leadership position where you'll play an integral role in both the operational and legal success of the department.
• You will oversee complex dental negligence claims, mentor fee earners, and work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives.
• You will manage and supervise a caseload of complex Dental Clinical Negligence matters.
• Providing technical guidance and support on challenging cases.
• Monitoring case progression to ensure quality, efficiency and excellent client care.
• Coaching and mentoring colleagues to encourage continuous development and career progression.
• Working collaboratively with senior leaders to implement improvements and enhance service delivery.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring legal teams.
• Strong technical knowledge across Clinical Negligence litigation.
• Excellent organisational and case management skills.
• A commercial approach combined with a commitment to outstanding client service.
• The confidence to make informed decisions and support colleagues on complex legal issues.
• Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building abilities.
• A positive, proactive management style with a genuine passion for developing people.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to embrace technology to improve legal service delivery.
