THE OPPORTUNITY:
The successful candidate will be joining a well-established firm that prides itself on providing practical, commercially focused legal advice. The corporate & commercial team works with a broad range of businesses and organisations, advising on a variety of corporate transactions and commercial matters.
THE ROLE:
While carrying out your duties at this firm, you will be expected to:
• Manage a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters, taking ownership of files and delivering a high-quality service.
• Advise clients on a range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, shareholder agreements and company reorganisations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and corporate documentation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and commercially focused advice.
• Keep up to date with relevant developments in corporate and commercial law.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from those with circa 1-3 PQE, you must also have:
• Experience managing your own caseload of corporate and commercial matters, with the ability to work with appropriate levels of supervision.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand clients' objectives and provide practical legal advice.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills, with the confidence to deal directly with clients.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines.
It would also be desirable if you have:
• Previous business development experience, or an interest in developing client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine interest in developing your career within a Corporate & Commercial team.
