Recruitment Administrator

Location: Solihull
Pay Rate: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary, Ongoing
Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Administrator to join our client’s operation in Solihull.

This is a temporary, ongoing position with a strong focus on long-term continuity. We are therefore looking for someone who is genuinely interested in a long-term opportunity and wants to establish themselves within the role.

Working within a busy automotive environment, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of inspection services across multiple sites. You will manage recruitment requirements, work closely with recruitment agencies, screen candidates and coordinate the deployment of staff to ensure operational requirements are met.

This is a varied role combining recruitment administration, candidate screening, agency management and workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Agency Management
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies to source suitable inspectors for automotive sites.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners.
    • Track open vacancies and ensure staffing requirements are fulfilled within agreed timescales.
    • Create and publish job advertisements across relevant job boards and recruitment platforms.
    • Maintain accurate recruitment trackers and staffing records.

Candidate Screening & Interviews
  • Review applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
    • Conduct telephone and video pre-screening interviews.
    • Assess candidate suitability against role requirements.
    • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and operational teams.
    • Ensure all candidate documentation is completed accurately and compliantly before deployment.

Workforce Coordination

  • Monitor core staff attendance, productivity and deployment across multiple sites.
    • Work closely with site managers to understand workforce requirements and upcoming demand.
    • Ensure core staff are allocated effectively and actively engaged in available work.
    • Maintain accurate staffing and workforce records.
    • Respond quickly to changing operational requirements and staffing priorities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and genuinely interested in a long-term opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment, resourcing, recruitment administration, agency management or workforce coordination.

You will be:
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
    • Confident communicating with candidates, recruitment agencies and internal teams.
    • Comfortable conducting telephone and video pre-screening interviews.
    • Able to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
    • Proactive, reliable and professional.
    • Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment/administration systems.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Looking for a long-term role rather than a short-term temporary position.
Previous experience within an automotive or manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

What’s on Offer?
  • On-site parking available
    • Long-term opportunity for the right candidate
    • Varied role combining recruitment and workforce coordination
    • Opportunity to develop within a busy automotive operation

If you have recruitment or resourcing experience, excellent organisational skills and are looking for a long-term opportunity, we would like to hear from you.
