Warehouse Operatives

Pertemps is supporting Royal Mail with warehouse recruitment at the Yorkshire Parcel hub (Normanton, WF6). We’re currently looking for reliable Mail & Parcel Sorters who are available to work Earlies and Night shifts.

This is a temporary, hands-on role within a busy parcel operation, with additional shifts potentially available during busier periods.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting and scanning mail and parcels
• Loading and unloading mail, parcels and pallets
• Moving mail around the warehouse
• Preparing mail and containers for despatch
• Keeping your work area safe and organised

What We’re Looking For 

No previous experience is needed as training is provided. You’ll need to: 

• Be available to work earlies, lates and night shifts 

• Be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Be happy standing and walking for long periods

• Be able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg

• Be comfortable switching between different warehouse tasks
  
  

Pay Rates & Shift patterns are typically 

Early shifts 0600 – 1400 - £13.69 per hour

Night shifts 2200 – 0600 - £16.44 per hour
