Job Description
Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee CAD Technician to join their growing team in Hereford. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced designers and draughtsmen on a range of exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the production of technical drawings for multiple assigned contracts, as directed by the Senior Draughtsman.
- Liaise with customers to agree on general arrangement drawings and resolve any identified issues.
- Ensure drawings are issued accurately and on time to the production team for manufacture.
- Work closely with the design team to support drawing-related queries and amendments.
- Carry out additional duties appropriate to the role as required.
- Salary of £28,000 - £32,000pm DOE
- 37.5 Hours a week (Monday – Friday)

- Experience using CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault)
- Computer literate with a thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and confidence liaising with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of building information modelling or REVITT to produce 3D drawings
- Understanding and practical knowledge of water storage tanks
- Experience within HVAC, Construction or Mechanical Instillation.
