This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement or supply chain professional who enjoys combining strategic planning, logistics coordination and supplier management to ensure products are available at the right time, at the right cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage demand planning and inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability.
    • Produce and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends and customer demand.

    • Work closely with international suppliers to optimise lead times, freight costs and supply performance.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate stock data across the warehouse management system.
    • Review supplier performance, pricing and service levels to drive continuous improvement.
    • Identify and evaluate new suppliers and products to strengthen the supply base.
    • Support procurement activities, ensuring purchasing decisions align with business demand and commercial objectives.

Person Specification
  • Previous experience within Demand Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain or Purchasing.
    • Experience managing inventory levels and demand forecasting.
    • Strong understanding of international logistics and supply chain planning.
    • Experience with batch buying or high-volume purchasing would be advantageous.
    • Confident analysing data and making commercially driven decisions.
    • Strong communication and supplier relationship management skills.
    • Mandarin or another Chinese language would be highly advantageous, although not essential.

Package
  • £36,000 - £42,000 salary, depending on experience.
    • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
    • Office-based in Gatwick with 1-2 days hybrid working available following successful completion of probation.
    • Opportunity to join a growing, market-leading business with genuine long-term career prospects.
