Are you a Psychology graduate or aspiring educational psychologist looking to gain valuable school-based experience? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Psychology, Autism & SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school.
This rewarding role is ideal for individuals interested in child development, autism, mental health, speech and language, or future careers in education and psychology.

The Role The successful candidate will:
  • Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and other SEN
    • Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and emotional development
    • Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
    • Use strategies such as visual supports, sensory breaks, and positive behaviour techniques
    • Encourage pupils’ confidence, communication, and social skills
    • Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom
The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:
  • Has a background in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field
    • Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within education or care settings
    • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
    • Has an interest in autism, SEN, and child development
    • Is proactive, reliable, and passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
