Occupational Therapy Assistant – Reablement at Home
Location: Hackney, London
Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working
Rate per hour: £30.81 per hour

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the Reablement at Home Service within Adult Social Care.

The Reablement at Home service provides short-term, therapy-led interventions focused on supporting adults to regain independence and achieve person-centred goals within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver short-term reablement support plans to adults in the community
• Work alongside Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams
• Support service users to maximise independence with daily living activities
• Carry out functional assessments and monitor progress against goals
• Provide practical support, advice, and equipment recommendations where appropriate
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation
• Promote independence and reduce long-term care needs

Requirements:

• Experience working within Adult Social Care or reablement services
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and rehabilitation approaches
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
• Enhanced DBS required
