Advanced Practitioner – Children in Care
Location: Harrow
Rate: £38–£40 per hour
Contract: Locum
Team: Children in Care

Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join a Children in Care Team in Harrow.
The role would suit an experienced social worker who is confident working with children in care and supporting positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of children in care.
• Undertake assessments, care planning and statutory visits.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
• Work closely with children, families, carers and partner agencies.
• Provide support and guidance to social workers and contribute to team development.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory requirements are met.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Significant experience working within Children in Care.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding and care planning.
• Experience supporting colleagues or working at an advanced practitioner level.
• Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills.
