We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner to provide specialist mental health support within the Experts at Hand service in London.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide specialist mental health assessments and professional advice
- Support children, young people and families with a range of mental health needs
- Develop and review appropriate support and intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with education, health, social care and other professionals
- Provide specialist guidance to families and professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical records and produce high-quality reports
- Contribute specialist expertise to a multi-disciplinary service
- Relevant professional qualification and registration
- Band 7 or equivalent specialist mental health experience
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Experience working with children and young people is desirable
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
