Contract role - Local Authority Adult Social Care 
 
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Strategic Lead within Commissioning and Regulated Services within Local Authority Adult's Services. 
Please note – it is essential that your Commissioning experience is within Local Authority Adult's Service for this role.  
Overview: 

• The post holder will report to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care and Health and will be a member of the senior leadership team. The post holder will lead on the strategic and operational functions relating to commissioning, quality  and performance of internal and external commissioned services and provide reports, performance activity and strategics plans to CST, scrutiny, quality, safeguarding and health and wellbeing boards.  

• Working closely with internal and system wide commissioners, will lead on ensuring integrated commissioning maximises independence, strengthens community and voluntary coordination, promotes preventive, strength-based approaches and person-centred practice to embed outcome focussed commissioning and service delivery. 

• To lead on delivery of high-quality services and positive outcomes by developing and leading collaborative working partnerships, delivering across organisational and local authority boundaries.  

• Post holder will be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance processes are robust, operating effectively and compliant with regulatory bodies for example, Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

• Leads on developing and maintaining effective relationships with relevant governance boards and regulatory bodies, to improve quality and safety of all commissioned Adult Social Care provision. 

• Post holder will provide leadership and direction to 2 Heads of Service whose functions include contract monitoring and management, regulated and internal service provision, brokerage, , ensuring statutory compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance. 

• Responsible for the co ordination and deployment of business support resource to ensure ASC has suitable resources, systems and processes in place to deliver an efficient and effective service operating within relevant compliance i.e. procurement and Information governance .   

• Leads on the development, provision and analysis of high-quality management information and documentation that is timely, accurate and meaningful relating to commissioning and regulated services.
