Pay rate £27.37 per hour

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Neighbourhood Officer for a Local Authority Housing Team in the North London / Hertfordshire area. 
You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting. 

• Provide a high-quality place-based tenancy management service, supporting residents to comply with their tenancy and lease conditions, ensure support plans and health and safety and residents’ safety requirements are met, consult with residents, members and senior officers with regards to support, tenancy sustainment and housing management issues.  

• Create and implement place management plans that benefit the community and improve the neighbourhood.  

• Manage complex casework and provide housing support services to residents in the community working.  

• Manage all aspects of people related issues including but not limited to safeguarding, domestic abuse, mental health, children and young people support, support for the elderly, hoarding, property condition, mediation and dispute resolution, anti-social behaviour, alcohol and substance misuse and troubled families.  

• Display respect, get things done and own the matter to its conclusion. Work in partnerships.
