Make a Difference Every Day An inclusive and supportive SEND school in Reading is seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join their growing team. Opportunities are available across both EYFS and KS2 classes, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils with SLD, MLD and Autism to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals.
• Monitor progress and adapt learning strategies to ensure the best outcomes for every pupil.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews, target setting, and personalised learning plans.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND, either within mainstream or specialist settings.
• Strong understanding of Autism, SLD, MLD, and differentiated teaching approaches.
• A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• ECTs with a passion for SEND are encouraged to apply.
