Location: Lambeth, South London
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
We are working with a high‑performing primary school in Lambeth that is seeking a Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team either immediately or from September.

The Role
- Supporting Year 2 pupils with Special Educational Needs, with a particular focus on Autism
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Implementing structured support strategies under the guidance of the class teacher and SEN team
- Contributing to a calm, purposeful and academically focused classroom environment
- Supporting pupils to achieve high expectations in learning and behaviour
- Has previous experience supporting children with Autism (school-based preferred)
- Is academically bright, articulate and confident when working with children
- Thrives in a high-expectations environment where standards of behaviour, conduct and learning are consistently high
- Is proactive, resilient and able to take initiative
- Communicates clearly and professionally with staff and pupils
- Has a genuine passion for education and inclusive learning
- A well-structured curriculum with strong emphasis on academic excellence
- A supportive leadership team with clear expectations and high standards
- Well‑behaved, motivated pupils who are encouraged to take pride in their learning
- A professional, respectful and values‑led working environment
- Full‑time role (Monday to Friday)
