About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW4) is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Class Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to support young children at the very start of their learning journey within a nurturing and supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative and high-quality teaching in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
    • Foster a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
    • Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
    • Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
    • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
    • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
    • Promote high standards of behaviour and learning
About You We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    • Has experience teaching in Early Years / Reception (ECTs are welcome to apply)
    • Has strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
    • Is creative, enthusiastic and committed to child-centred learning
    • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
    • Is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
