Job Description
Adult Social Worker, Hospital Team, Richmond and Wandsworth
We are looking for a highly motivated & experienced social worker to support the St George's Hospital Stroke Unit. This is a 20 bed, hyper-acute stroke unit and the 16 bedded acute stroke unit.
You will working within a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dieticians, Neuropsychologists, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Therapy Assistant Practitioners, Neuronavigator, Psychology and Admin Assistants.
This will be a hybrid role with a need to be based at St Georges Hospital 3 day per week. Thursdays are mandatory as this is the weekly team day. There may be some weeks, where you are required to be on site more than 3 days per week, workload depending.
The social worker role will be based between Thomas Young Ward (St Georges Hospital) and the Wandsworth community neuro-rehabilitation team (Battersea).
Candidate must have experience of hospital discharge and MDT working.
£34 per hour
