HVAC Installation Manager - Dartford - 50K 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Air Conditioning Technical Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a former AC Engineer looking to transition into an office-based role, or for an individual with experience in a manufacturer’s technical support department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery, managing quotations, coordinating technical information, and ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, issue, and manage quotations for new installations, remedial works, and service-related projects
    • Liaise with customers via email and telephone, providing professional and timely communication
    • Proactively follow up on quotations to secure orders
    • Order air conditioning equipment, components, and spare parts
    • Review engineers’ job reports and recommend appropriate follow-up actions
    • Produce customer quotations based on engineers’ recommendations
    • Provide internal technical support to office staff when required
    • Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) — training provided if required
    • Maintain accurate documentation and job records


Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within the air conditioning industry
    • Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and ventilation systems
    • Previous hands-on installation, diagnostic, or manufacturer technical support experience (highly desirable)
    • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
    • Confident communicator with a professional and personable approach
    • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Ability to commute reliably to our office location


Package & Benefits
  • Full-time, permanent position
    • Salary: £35,000 – £50,000.00 per annum (dependent on experience)
