Pertemps Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN College in Hounslow that supports young adults aged 19–25 with Special Educational Needs, including ASD and Complex Needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to make a meaningful impact in a post-16 setting, supporting learners to develop communication, independence, and essential life skills.
We are recruiting for long-term placements as well as flexible opportunities.
The Role

• Assess, plan, and deliver tailored speech and language interventions
• Support learners with communication difficulties linked to ASD and Complex Needs
• Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop functional communication skills
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support staff, and external professionals
• Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress reporting
• Provide strategies and guidance to staff to support communication across the college

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant registration
• Experience working with SEN, ASD, and Complex Needs
• Passionate about supporting young adults aged 19–25
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
