Electrical Estimator – Commercial Fit-Outs
Location: London or Essex (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 + Optional Overtime + Benefits
Annual Leave: 20 days + Bank Holidays
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
A leading specialist electrical contractor with a strong presence across London and Essex is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team.
With a turnover of £15M, the business focuses on commercial office fit-outs, delivering projects ranging from £500k to £3M, with a sweet spot between £100k–£800k. This is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple tenders and play a key role in the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documentation and technical drawings
- Develop base electrical designs to support accurate quoting
- Participate in tender negotiations and client meetings
- Conduct site surveys to gather project-specific data
- Organise and maintain quote folders and documentation
- Produce detailed estimates and cost plans across multiple projects
- Deliver comprehensive handovers to project teams
- Identify risks and opportunities to enhance project outcomes
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems
- Proven experience in Design & Build electrical estimating
- Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Competitive salary up to £75,000
