Adoption Mailbox and Contact Coordinator, Bolton Council
Pay rate £20.38 per hour
Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for an Adoption Mailbox and Contact Coordinator to work in Bolton Council.
Ideally fulltime cover but for the right candidate alternative hours would be considered. Supporting the exchange of letters between adoptive families and birth families. Role requires some sensitivity and support to those involved in exchanges as well as a significantly high degree of accuracy in terms of processes to ensure no data breaches. For the right candidate role can involve face to face support to support with the writing of exchanges (to birth parents) and/or facilitating face to face meetings between adoptive families and birth families on occasion. The skill set of any applicant would be considered and tasks allocated accordingly. Full management support is provided as well as peer support from others within this role.
The office base is Adoption Now, First Floor, Howell Croft House, Howell Croft North, Bolton. (share building with YOT thus listing below).
DBS is not essentially but DBS check can enable the candidate to be used more creatively within the role in terms of more front facing work.
