Children’s Residential Care Worker 📍 Derby (Mickleover/Littleover)
💷 £35,950 – £37,638 OTE (including sleep-ins) + £1,000 joining bonus
⏰ 40 hours per week + sleep-ins
🔄 2 days on / 4 days off (alternate week pattern)

About the Role We are looking for passionate and dedicated Children’s Residential Care Workers to join a supportive and established team in Derby.

You’ll be responsible for providing emotional support, promoting positive behaviours, and ensuring the overall wellbeing of the children in your care.

  • Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to young people
    • Promoting independence, life skills, and social development
    • Supporting with routines, education, and activities
    • Maintaining a safe and structured environment
    • Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care

What We’re Looking For
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (or willingness to work towards)
    • Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
    • Full UK driving licence
    • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
