About the role:
You will manage a varied caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans, Public Law Outline processes and court proceedings where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families.
- Managing Child Protection and PLO
- Completing Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments.
- Developing and reviewing plans that promote safety, stability and positive outcomes.
- Building strong relationships with children and families to support sustainable change.
- Working effectively with schools, health partners, police and other agencies.
- Preparing high-quality reports and attending conferences, reviews and court proceedings.
- Ensuring children’s voices remain central to all decision-making
What you need:
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Completed relevant post-qualifying training
- Enhanced DBS check
- Excellent communication and written skills
