An established and growing plumbing and heating business is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join its team.

This is a hands-on, varied role for a plumber who is confident working independently and wants a position offering a mixture of commercial plumbing, plant room work, boiler installations and reactive maintenance.

You'll be joining a small, experienced team with a steady pipeline of work and the opportunity to build a long-term career with the business.
The RoleAs a Commercial Plumber, you'll be responsible for carrying out a mixture of installation, maintenance and reactive plumbing work across commercial and domestic sites.

Your day-to-day work could include:

• Commercial plumbing installation and maintenance
• Plant room works
• Boiler installations and associated plumbing
• Plumbing callouts and fault finding
• Heating and radiator works
• Reactive repairs and general plumbing maintenance
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
• Working across a variety of customer sites
• Managing jobs independently and completing work to a high standard
• Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts

The role covers London and the surrounding areas, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling between sites. Some jobs may involve journeys of over an hour.
About YouWe're looking for a skilled plumber with solid commercial experience who can confidently work without constant supervision.

You'll ideally have experience in:

• Commercial plumbing
• Plant rooms
• Boiler installation
• Reactive maintenance and callouts
• Heating systems and radiators
• Plumbing fault finding and repairs

A gas/heating background or relevant gas qualifications would be an advantage, although strong commercial plumbing experience is the main requirement.

You'll also need a full UK driving licence and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
Package

• Up to £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Company van
• Fuel card
• Company expense card for reasonable work-related expenses
• Overtime available on a voluntary basis
• Enhanced overtime rates, including 1.5x on Saturdays and double-time where applicable
• Travel time paid at minimum wage after the first hour
• 20 days' annual leave + bank holidays
