This role requires proficiency in handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of products.
Tasks required include:
- Safely operate Material Handling Equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks..
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning..
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, or containers..
- Stack and store products in designated locations within the warehouse..
- Pick and stage products based on order requirements..
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to designated areas..
- Move products between storage areas, ensuring efficient space utilization..
- Rotate stock to facilitate the FIFO (First In, First Out) system..
- Inspect goods for damage during transportation..
- Report any quality issues to supervisors and follow established procedures..
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during equipment operation..
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly..
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and equipment inspections..

What are the entry requirements for a MHE Driver?
There are no formal academic entry requirements. Training is typically provided Off or on-the-job. NVQs/ in Warehousing and Storage are available at Levels 1, 2 and 3.
