TASKS

  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines for counterbalance forklift operations..
  • Assist in counting, sorting, and organizing inventory using the counterbalance forklift..
  • Communicate with warehouse or site personnel to coordinate material movements..
  • Conduct pre-use inspections and report any equipment issues promptly..
  • Contribute to the efficient flow of materials within the facility, optimizing storage space and minimizing delays..
  • Inspect materials for damage or irregularities during loading, unloading, or movement..
  • Load and unload materials onto/from trucks, shelves, or storage areas using the counterbalance forklift..
  • Load and unload trucks with the counterbalance forklift, ensuring secure and balanced loads..
  • Maintain counterbalance forklift operator certification as required..
  • Manoeuvre the forklift with precision in tight spaces and around obstacles..
  • Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to lift, lower, and move materials as needed..
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and stay updated on safety practices..
  • Perform basic maintenance checks on the counterbalance forklift, including fluid levels and visual inspections..
  • Report any mechanical issues for timely repairs..
  • Report any quality issues to supervisors..
  • Transport goods to designated locations within the facility..
  • Update electronic inventory systems to reflect movements accurately..
  • Use communication devices or systems as required..
  • Verify shipments against delivery documents..
