Location:           Greater Manchester
Salary:              £45,000- £55,000 (DOE)
Hours:               Monday- Thursday 08:45- 17:00 & Friday 08:45-16:00hrs
Contract:           Permanent
               

The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Product Manager to manage and coordinate our clients existing business, develop opportunities and maintain and communicate product information from their extensive portfolio of products to the sales team and their customers.

This position requires experience within the Electrical/Electronics industry, a good level of technical knowledge, product understanding and ability to absorb new information. Full training will be given on the specific product portfolio and processes.

As the Product Manager your duties will be;
  • Close working relationship with the sales team providing commercial & technical support.
    • Coordination with suppliers
    • Liaising/communicating directly with the customers.
    • Inventory management
    • Research competitor and market analysis, trends and roadmaps.
    • Delivery monitoring and lead time updates
    • Price list/price book updates
    • Provide input for marketing activity in conjunction with suppliers and the product marketing team.
    • Gather information and material for product promotion campaigns, using email and social media, along with the coordination of products to be included on the web site.
    • Visit customer sites for service meetings/provide technical support.

The successful Product Manager will have the following skills;
  • Must have good experience within the Electrical/Electronics industry.
    • Engineering/technical qualifications
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Commercial awareness with customer-facing experience desirable.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • IT Literate including social media platforms.
    • Must have a full UK driving licence.
