Our client is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy warehouse team. The role involves handling, moving, picking, and packing furniture and white goods within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position and develop new skills within the logistics sector.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing furniture and white goods for customer orders
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Manual handling and physical lifting of furniture, appliances, and other large items throughout the shift
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are packed securely
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Conducting basic quality checks on products before dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as required

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience (desirable)
• Ability to carry out repetitive manual handling and heavy lifting duties
• Comfortable working with large and bulky items such as furniture and white goods
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
